Karaoke, twice a
week.

Thursday and Sunday are karaoke nights on Selari. The kitchen, the bar and the shisha service run exactly as they do the rest of the week — what changes is the microphone, and how long the table stays.

Both are late nights, so there is no rush to get to the good part. Tables go faster than usual on karaoke evenings; book ahead if you are bringing a group.

What are the opening hours?

Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 17:00 to 03:00. Friday and Saturday from 17:00 to 04:00. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.

What kind of food do you serve in Old Town?

Eastern European and Ukrainian cuisine: oysters and caviar, homemade borscht, handmade varenyky and pelmeni, crayfish, grilled mains, sides and traditional desserts. There is also a full sushi menu — special rolls, hoso maki, nigiri and sashimi — cut to order.

Yes. The terrace is covered and heated, so it stays open all year, including through the winter. The full menu and shisha are served outside in the cold months too.

Are there rooftop bars in Bucharest’s Old Town?

Yes, several. Nomad Skybar on Strada Lipscani, Pura Vida Sky Bar on Strada Smârdan and Linea / Closer to the Moon above the old Victoria store are the best known, and most of them are drinks-led. Komodo Rooftop Old Town is on Strada Șelari, with a full Eastern European kitchen and shisha served at the table, on a terrace that is covered and heated and stays open through the winter.

Is there karaoke?

Yes — every Thursday and Sunday. The full food, drinks and shisha menu is served as usual on karaoke nights, and the venue is open 17:00 to 03:00 on both. Tables fill faster than usual, so book ahead for a group.
